The Jeonnam Wind Power Industry Association was established in 2011 through the shared vision and commitment of its member companies to lead the development of the wind power industry in Jeollanam-do. Although renewable energy is essential for protecting the environment and ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come, the industry faces many challenges. Our association was founded to promote cooperation among stakeholders and accelerate the efficient development of wind power projects. Today, with 53 member companies, we play a leading role in Korea's wind power industry.

Worldwide, more than 600 GW of wind power capacity has been installed, and Korea has identified offshore wind power as a key component of its Green New Deal policy. Blessed with shallow coastal waters and abundant wind resources, Jeollanam-do is promoting Blue Energy as a core initiative of its Blue Economy strategy, and our association is proud to be at the forefront of this effort.

Through collaboration among our member companies, the sharing of advanced technologies and best practices, and policy recommendations to support the offshore wind industry, we are committed to contributing to the sustainable growth of the industry and creating value for all stakeholders.

Wind power projects, particularly offshore wind projects, require close cooperation among local communities, fishermen, developers, contractors, and policymakers. Building mutual understanding and trust among these stakeholders is essential for successful project development.

We will continue to develop this website as a platform for communication, where not only our member companies but also anyone interested in the future of wind energy can share ideas, access valuable information, and stay informed about the industry's latest developments.
